We read every message in arrival order. Useful first notes include borough or postcode, whether you rent or own, rough room size, and any hard deadlines such as relocation dates. If you are outside the UK, add your timezone so we do not ping you at midnight by mistake.
Attachments are welcome once we reply with a secure channel; please do not send large files in the first message. For joint decisions, either sign both names or tell us who speaks for the household.

Paid consultation only: fees, scope, and deliverables are set out in a written quotation or engagement letter before billable work begins. This service is not medical care.
We aim to acknowledge enquiries within two working days. Workshop seasons may extend that slightly; we post notices on the atelier page when that happens.
If your matter is urgent and time-bound, mark the subject line with “Time sensitive” and we will triage fairly alongside other clients.

Can we meet online first?
Yes. We routinely begin with a video walk-through; site visits remain optional.
Do you take international clients?
We do, with asynchronous communication and metric units clarified in the ledger.
Is there a fee for the first reply?
The first substantive email is part of our public-facing practice; detailed audits are quoted separately.
