Cookies and similar technologies
This page describes how we deploy cookies, local storage, and comparable tools on quoglarnizio.world. It is written to align with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR as interpreted alongside guidance from the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Scope and definitions
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website. PECR uses a broad definition that also covers similar technologies such as local storage keys, session storage, pixels, and scripts that read or write identifiers. Throughout this policy, “cookie” includes those technologies when they perform an equivalent function.
Our public website is aimed at adults exploring sleep environment and renewal planning services. We do not build behavioural profiles of children, and we do not use optional cookies for that purpose.
Types of technology we use
We use first-party technologies that we set directly from quoglarnizio.world, and we may allow third-party technologies when you enable analytics or marketing. First-party items include the preference token that remembers whether you accepted, rejected, or customised optional cookies.
Strictly necessary technologies support core operations such as network security, load distribution, and remembering your cookie choice. They are exempt from the consent requirement under PECR provided they are truly necessary to deliver a service explicitly requested by you.
Cookie categories in detail
Strictly necessary
These cookies and storage entries keep the site reliable. Examples include tokens that mitigate cross-site request forgery, session continuity for secure areas if we introduce them in the future, and the localStorage record that stores your consent decision so we do not repeatedly interrupt you. You cannot disable this category through our interface because doing so would break basic functionality or undermine security.
Analytics
If you enable analytics, we may place cookies or use scripts that collect aggregated information such as approximate location derived from IP address (often truncated), device category, landing pages, and scroll depth. We configure analytics tools to minimise personal data where the vendor allows, and we review retention settings during onboarding.
Marketing
If you enable marketing, we may deploy cookies or pixels that measure whether you arrived from a campaign—including, where we use them, UK online advertising platforms such as Google Ads—attribute conversions at an aggregate level, or support limited remarketing where permitted. You can disable this category at any time; disabling it does not delete historical aggregate reports already generated by vendors.
How consent works
When you first visit, you see a banner offering Accept All, Reject, and Cookie Settings. Accepting all enables optional analytics and marketing. Rejecting leaves only strictly necessary technologies active. Cookie Settings opens a modal where you can toggle analytics and marketing independently before saving.
We log the decision timestamp in your browser’s local storage. We do not require you to create an account to express preferences. If you clear storage or use a different browser or device, you may see the banner again.
Storage, duration, and withdrawal
Consent records persist until you clear site data for our domain or until we publish a material change that requires a new storage key. Individual vendor cookies have their own expiry dates, typically ranging from a single session to thirteen months. We review vendor defaults at least annually.
You can withdraw consent by reopening Cookie Settings if the modal is available from the banner state, or by deleting stored data through your browser. Browser extensions that block cookies may interfere with preference storage; if that happens, you might see repeated prompts.
Analytics and marketing specifics
We only load optional scripts after you consent to the relevant category. If both categories are off, those scripts do not execute. When vendors process personal data on our behalf, we rely on data processing terms and, where relevant, standard contractual clauses for transfers outside the United Kingdom.
Marketing cookies, when enabled, should not read unrelated browsing history on third-party sites beyond what the vendor’s documentation discloses. If we change vendors, we update this policy and, where appropriate, seek fresh consent.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on context, you may have rights under the UK GDPR regarding personal data collected through cookies, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability. Because some identifiers are pseudonymous, exercising rights may require you to provide additional information so we can locate records.
You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you believe we have mishandled cookies or consent. We prefer that you contact us first so we can resolve practical issues quickly.
Changes to this policy
We amend this document when we introduce new technologies, change vendors, or respond to regulatory guidance. The hero section displays today’s date dynamically for your reference when you load the page; the substantive “last reviewed” baseline is maintained internally and reflected in our version control records.
For personal data more broadly, see our privacy policy. For website rules, see our terms of use. Return to the home page.
